Rubber outsoles on safety footwear are synonymous with the Buckbootz brand. Today they are incorporated in the specification of every Buckbootz footwear product spanning three different construction methods. We had always been attracted to the prospect of having safety footwear manufactured using the injection moulded process to attach the sole units and have this incorporate rubber outsoles. Not straightforward. There were always doubts over the bonding process. Then came a breakthrough. New injection moulding and bonding technology enabled improved bonding of polyurethane outsoles and crucially for us there was potential to have that incorporate rubber outsoles. In Spring 2010 we launched the Buckbootz Buckshot range featuring some of the first UK brand safety boots with this specification. BSH006 has all the key safety features you should expect and more. Safety toecap and midsole protection come as standard but when combined with waterproof uppers and a unique heel 'clasp' to ensure maximum comfort and suppport with zero heel slippage, you know you'll be comfortable all day. We never rest on our laurels or put our feet up. The original Buckshot strapline ‘Fired by desire for perfection’ has never rung so true.

The dealer (elastic sided, pull on) boot style was the signature product when the Buckbootz safety footwear range was launched in 1998. Since that time we have introduced many additional features to the dealer boot concept but up until now and for obvious reasons, the one dealer boot design feature which eluded safety footwear designers had been the provision of ankle support and protection. After two years of constant design development and wear testing Buckbootz announces a major breakthrough in dealer boot design with the pre-spring launch of a sensational new dealer boot: bANg guardz®. Like many good ideas the solution to providing ankle protection on a dealer style is a simple one: build the stretch area into the top part of the front of the boot to enable the ankle protection to be built into the sides. However, that is only the beginning of the story.
